If you want to find out more about Dianetics and Scientology, the best way to do this is to read an L. Ron Hubbard book on the subject. I personally recommend you read Scientology: The Fundamentals of Thought.
This book really helped me with concepts of life that had been bothering me. I studied Philosophy and World Religions at University, but they didn't give me as much insight as L. Ron Hubbard's books, like Scientology The Fundamentals of Thought have given me. I find that I read these books again from time to time and find new ideas that I missed before. They're a gold mine of insight into life and people.
